DIME OF THE DAY
Jenn Sterger is the Dime of the Day. She was spotted in 2005 while attending a Florida State football game. As the camera man panned across the crowd, announcer Brent Musberger said, “1,500 red-blooded Americans just decided to apply to Florida State.” Some people catch all the breaks. Game 1 of the NBA Finals was dominated by the Lakers with their fierce play. The Lakers swarmed the Celtics players all night. Pau Gasol shut the naysayers up with his 23/14 performance. Phil Jackson is 47-0 when he wins the first game of a playoff series.
My 2 Cents: Game 2 is Sunday night in LA and if the Celtics don’t come to play some ball this series is going to be like every other series in these playoffs…boring. I will be in LA next week and just checked stubhub for tickets and didn’t realize a courtside seat was $52,943. It looks like I’ll just catch a bleacher seat at Dodger stadium next Friday.
