Fail of the Day: The Water Slide

Ah…going to the water park when I was a young lad was always a special treat. Mom always thought why waste money at the park when she could make us a slide in the yard?

So crafty Mom was.

So frugal.

She used to roll the tarp down the hill, turn the hose on, and my sister and I would slide down the 10 foot tarp/25 foot hill. The tarp with holes, over the rocks & sticks and into the bushes at the bottom of the hill were some of my fondest memories of that double-wide we used to rent.

I guess we didn’t have it that bad. These idiots thought it would be a good idea to go down the water slide into a pool…with no water. Fail!
