It’s no secret that I am a HUGE fan of the Dan Patrick Show. It’s always been a dream of mine to work for ESPN until I started watching Dan a few years back. Now my dream is to work for him.
This was a clip from Friday morning’s show. I had to film it myself with a flip cam so it’s not the best quality, but wanted people to see it. No joke I have watched this 5 minute clip10 or 11 times this weekend.
Kanye West – Way Too Cold ft. DJ Khaled (Explicit) NEW * TheraFlu *
This is the first time I heard the song. I like the video, though. The only thing it’s missing is…well, KanyeWest. The kid does a good job and breaks it down at the end.
I could do without the 60 seconds of shoutouts at the end.
I started this site on April 12, 2010. Two years ago…
Unreal.
I had a dream…a sports/Vegas/men’s topics site/podcast with a few buddies (ESPN-esque only no corporate restrictions) and we’d all be living our dreams;
Talking sports
Revenue from advertisements
No alarm clocks and most importantly…
No bosses
Living the dream
It started that way, but has went through so many changes. It’s been a blast. I enjoy doing it. I really do. I have not made a single penny from this site and the site has 740 blog posts. I am thinking about pushing it to the next level and bringing on some writers (JO) to branch out to different demographics, different perspectives, different styles. And of course, try to monetize it.
I know this site doesn’t bring out the emotions and it’s not deep, it’s just a run down of sports topics mixed with pop culture. Sometimes I add my $0.02. For what it’s worth, probably not even that.
I do it for entertainment purposes.
I got a Tweet from an old High School friend who I haven’t spoke to in years, it read something like this, “Man, this site looks good on my phone. Keep up the good work” I spend 30-45 minutes a day on this site and that ONE Tweet made it all worth it. Thank you, Mr. Tomasek.
I got a Tweet (see a pattern?) from my boy Jason last night (although it was past midnight on the East Coast) that read, “2 years, congrats #eastcoasttimezone”. I went to bed reading that and it made my day. Thank you young man.
My writing partner, HBZ, we’ll stick with Harry for now as he’s on the run (kidding). He contributes to the site on the ‘In the Ring‘ section. The kid has a knack for writing, it’s unbelievable. He’s got such a talent, it’s amazing. The thing is, he’s an even better person. Thank you for everything. Let’s catch up soon.
My buddy Luke is a frequent reader and comments on links I post. It means the world, Luke. Thank you. Let’s grab a beer soon.
My boy Ryan, NYC, is always giving me props and may be the biggest SCT fan (Although I hear KateUpton talks this site up quite a bit). He has no idea how much his loyalty means, but I am forever grateful for his enthusiasm for the site. Mr. Hoffecker, next round is on me.
Mike, I did not forget about you. I know you’re a (hopefully) daily reader and I appreciate that. I am not sure what state you are in now as Walbridge moves you around the country, but I appreciate your support. Thank you!
Last, but certainly not least, my girlfriend, Amanda. She has to put up with me picking out a Dime of the Day everyday. I couldn’t do it. I am 30 years old and maybe the sports/hot babes(dimes)/Vegas blog is a pipe dream and I should grow up, but I’ll never grow up. She sees that in me, and for some reason, still loves me. And it’s awesome. I love you girlfriend!
I enjoy doing it.
Some days it’s not easy, but I do it because of the support from the peeps mentioned above and everyone else that has read this site, even once. So grateful for all of you.
I am not showing you this to brag, I am proud, but would really like to get a million when we celebrate the three year anniversary next spring.
SCT stats;
It’s hard to read, but 261,243 page views (all-time) and 15,480 in one day. Unreal. I am impressed. And very grateful. Thank you!
Not to short change the people above, but I owe my thanks to the man that taught me to chase my dreams, Mr. Gary Vaynerchuk.
I cannot express the gratitude I have for this man. I advise everyone to read his book, Crush It.
It changed my life.
So did this video…

I sat down not knowing what to write for this post, it just came out. It’s my thoughts and feelings on all of this. It has been a lot of fun.
She will probably be DOTD again tomorrow. And yes, I know she was DOTDthis morning, but can you argue?
Also, if any of you know Ms. Upton. Please let her know that she was Dime of the Year for 2010. Her trophy is here at Sin City Trifecta’s Headquarters.
If you’re in need of a website then this will be the most important information you read today. Before you spend a dime on any web design service you simply must read this entire ad!
Hello,
I know that this offer may sound too good to be true, but believe me it isn’t.
Let’s face it. In this day and age you simply must have an internet presence if you’re serious about being successful.
The thing is web design is expensive, with even the cheapest of the cheap starting at $100 or more.
However, you don’t need to pay through the nose in order to get your very own high quality website designed.
This is a great opportunity if you need a website! This service is great for things like these:
Small Businesses
Churches
Upcoming Events
Non Profit Organizations
Bands
Rappers and Singers
Artists & Writers
And More!
Right now for a limited time only, I’m offering you the opportunity to get your very own high quality 5 page website designed, installed, and up and running on the internet totally for FREE!
Your website can be on any subject matter you wish.
By now you’re probably wondering why I’m giving away these sites for free when I could charge hundreds of dollars upfront.
Well, I’m going to be quite honest. I want your business. I want to be the person you turn to for anything internet related.
However, there is a small problem. You don’t know me from Tom, and we’ve never worked together before.
So I figure that the best way for me to get long term customers for my own internet marketing services is to provide immense value upfront totally for free.
If you’re blown away by what I give you for free, it only makes sense that you’d be thrilled at the results when I ask you to pay me a small fee.
This is the best way I’ve come up with to start a business relationship, and I’ve noticed that nearly every other web designer wants your money first and cares little about establishing a truly profitable relationship.
And download the free website setup guide which will walk you through step by step to getting me everything I need to get your website online.
While the website design service is totally free, you will need $9.29 to register your own dot com for the first year and to secure website hosting.
This fee is not paid to me, but to the companies who will provide you with the dot com and the website hosting.
So don’t wait any longer! Due to time constraints I only have a limited amount of slots available and I will be working on a first come first serve basis. So please download the guide right now and get me all the information I need ASAP: http://www.mediafire.com/?rwyo9tx0qr3xzxh
I sincerely look forward to working with you,
Adam

After the Redskins beat the Cowboys in their season opener on Sunday, Donovan Mcnabb had to ask a teammate if his former team, the Philadelphia Eagles won (they didn’t).
I am not a big fan of Mcnabb as a QB. He become solid when he started looking for second and third options instead of running the ball. Unfortunately, the beating he took his early years as an overly athletic QB have rendered him a bit injury prone. Regardless, I am a fan of Mcnabb the professional athlete because time and time again, he has managed to be a stand up, class act when dealing with adversity.
When Rush Limbaugh mentioned Mcnabb while trying to make a politically incorrect, yet awkwardly factual observation regarding the league’s obsession and over hype of athletic, black QB’s that were supposed to revolutionize the position and the game, Mcnabb handled it with class, almost taking a back seat to the media frenzy.
When Terrell Owens had a season long tantrum that eventually turned on Mcnabb; DonavanMcnabb took the high road again. When the Eagles got rid of Mcnabb, he made it clear that he was not bitter about it and that he was looking to play ball…hopefully Michael Vick managed to pick some of that up along the way.

The dude was a stud at USC breaking many records, winning a National Championship and the Heisman trophy. He was drafted number 2 overall by the New Orleans Saints and was a big part in the rebuilding of New Orleans. He dated the lovely Kim Kardashian.
Reggie Bush was living the good life for the last 6 or 7 years. He was on top of the world. He had it all. Every boy’s dream, including dating Ms. I-Got-Famous-From-A-Sex-Tape.
Well, the news yesterday of Reggie Bush having to return the Heisman trophy must be heart breaking for the former Trojan. I’m not sure if he Fedex’s the trophy back or if the Heisman Trust comes to New Orleans to take it back, but you think he has one last night with it? Maybe watch USC highlights on the couch with the trophy? I would. It’s the first time in history that this has happened. Do they re-vote? Does Vince Young get the trophy because he took 2nd? A lot of questions need to be answered.
We here at Sin City Trifecta were discussing our move on LA and came up with a poll question for the day;
